Picks for summer in south Leeds and further afield

A post to share the two most recent pieces of writing I have had published.

I am super pleased to have written for South Leeds Life for the first time. It is a fantastic community newspaper published monthly. For this article I explored the work being done in Beeston as part of the Index Festival at BasementArtsProject. https://southleedslife.com/beestons-own-sculpture-triangle/ There will be much more about the Index Festival in future blog posts…

I was also delighted to add my cultural highlights for 2019 so far in Socialist Review magazine; the appointment of Simon Armitage as Poetry Laureate, the British Textile Biennial and the Yorkshire Sculpture International. http://socialistreview.org.uk/448/pick-summer
